1st Step: Meet Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for RBT certification at Florida Integrated Therapy, individuals must meet specific criteria, including:

Being at least 18 years of age

Holding a high school diploma or equivalent

Passing a background check

Completing a 40-hour training program

Successfully completing an initial competency assessment

2nd Step: Apply

Once eligibility requirements are met, individuals can proceed to the application process to receive RBT certification.

3rd Step: Take & Pass RBT Exam

After meeting training and supervision requirements, individuals are required to take and pass the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) exam, administered by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). This exam evaluates knowledge of ABA principles and procedures essential for providing effective therapy.

4th Step: Maintain

Upon becoming a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), individuals are expected to maintain their certification by:
